WHO AM I?
Hello! My name is Samantha Mori, and I'm a recent Summa Cum Laude graduate of Iowa State University. I have earned a BS in Journalism & Mass Communication and Sociology, as well as an Undergraduate Certificate in Science Communication from the Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication.

I grew up in Lodi, Wisconsin and am the youngest sibling in my family. I've always loved writing, and a project in my sophomore English class in high school inspired me to pursue journalism at college and as a career.

At Iowa State, I worked at the front desk of the Greenlee School of Journalism and Mass Communication and as an undergraduate research assistant in the Department of Sociology. I have written for the Iowa State Daily as a reporter on the academic desk and as a communications intern at the Iowa Medical Society.

In the future, I hope to work within the field of science communications. Specifically, I hope to write about research and discoveries for magazine-like publications to make science more accessible to the general public.
